The first Our School Orchard students will soon take part in the new education project in North Devon.
Voluntary organisation Orchards Live along with programme partner Atlas Packaging are to hold the pilot training event during March 2019 with students from a number of the Tarka Multi Academy Trust schools.
The children will then go back to their primary schools with three trees and a wealth of tree related knowledge to share with their friends.
