WELCOME to this new and exciting schools project in North Devon brought to you by Orchards Live and Atlas Packaging. OUR SCHOOL ORCHARD will help you create a small orchard of a few apple trees at your school with your students planting and looking after the trees as they grow.

Schools across North Devon will be invited to take part in the Our School Orchard Project. Two students and a teacher from each school will be able to attend a short training course on how to plant and look after apple trees before returning to their school with three trees for FREE.

The idea is for the students who have received the training to then pass on this information to their classmates to help them to plant the trees. At convenient times throughout the academic year the children can then help to look after the trees as they grow.
